These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Turkish Sweet Centre website and any orders you place. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Us

Turkish Sweet Centre is a confectionery business based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK. We sell authentic Turkish and Ottoman sweets online and in-store. Our Manchester location operates as a franchisee under the Turkish Sweet Centre brand.

2. Ordering

2.1 Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase goods. Your order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, for example if a product is unavailable or if payment cannot be processed.

2.2 Order Accuracy

Please review your order carefully before submitting. If you make a mistake, contact us immediately at +44 7404 407 000 or via WhatsApp. We cannot guarantee changes once an order is being prepared.

2.3 Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. Products are prepared fresh and in limited quantities. We will notify you as soon as possible if any item in your order becomes unavailable and offer a suitable alternative or refund.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Prices

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price charged will be the price shown at the time of your order.

3.2 Payment

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Payment is taken at the time of order. We do not store your card details — all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe under their PCI-DSS compliant systems.

4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery Areas

We currently deliver within Bradford and surrounding areas. Delivery is free for orders over £30. For orders under £30, a £3.50 delivery charge applies. Manchester orders (via our franchisee) may have different delivery terms — please check with the Manchester branch directly.

4.2 Delivery Times

We aim to deliver orders within the timeframe agreed at checkout. Delivery times may be affected by demand, particularly during Ramadan and other peak periods. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

4.3 Collection

You may choose to collect your order in person from our Bradford branch. Collection times will be confirmed at checkout.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1 Perishable Goods

As our products are fresh food items prepared to order, we are unable to accept returns of perishable goods unless they are defective or not as described, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5.2 Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 1 hour of placing it by contacting us immediately. After preparation has begun, we cannot guarantee a cancellation. If you cancel before preparation begins, you will receive a full refund.

5.3 Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will offer a replacement, credit, or full refund at our discretion.

5.4 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method via Stripe.

6. Allergens Disclaimer

Always inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements in the order notes. We will do our best to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation due to shared kitchen environments.

Allergen information displayed on our website is for guidance only and may not reflect every ingredient or cross-contamination risk. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us directly before ordering.

Turkish Sweet Centre accepts no liability for allergic reactions where allergen information has been provided and the customer has proceeded with ordering.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, text, logos, and design, is the property of Turkish Sweet Centre or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turkish Sweet Centre shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to adverse weather, supply chain issues, or third-party failures)

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

9. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the website's security, overload our servers, or access data not intended for you. We reserve the right to restrict access to the website at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will indicate the date of the last revision below.
